Light active Magnesium oxide is an important auxiliary in the rubber and SMC industries. 3. Main Applications

Used as an acid acceptor in chlorinated polyethylene compounding rubber; as an accelerator and activator in silicone rubber, neoprene, and fluoroelastomer; as a vulcanization stabilizer for butyl rubber; and as a thickener for SMC/BMC. Widely used in adhesives, oil-resistant hoses, conveyor belts, medical rubber stoppers, wire and cable sheathing, and fiberglass-reinforced plastics.
